The S70 Ocean joins our range as the first vessel with hybrid propulsion. In harbours and quiet zones the yacht moves on electric motors alone — no exhaust, no vibration, with energy in reserve for a dozen miles of manoeuvring. Offshore, two 150 hp diesels take over, and the batteries recharge while sailing under canvas.
For an owner this means three things: a morning departure that wakes no neighbours, access to ports announcing zero-emission zones, and a range no longer limited by tank capacity. The eight berths in four cabins and the saloon with its 270-degree view remain unchanged from the classic S70.
The premiere example will moor at our quay in mid-July. It will spend its first season as a demonstrator — the sea-trial calendar opens together with the enquiry form on the model page.
